I sincerely miss the days when a musician's approach to creative expression.....was able to cause worldwide concern and consternation. Those days are OVER. After 9/11...and the wars...and the recession...and Trump...and Covid...and climate change...and impending economic collapse...and the rise of authoritarianism worldwide.......it just seems absurd to worry about _musicians._ But man...I do miss the days when that was even a thing. Back when society was stable enough that we actually had the time and energy to focus on trivial things. But now....we have multiple overwhelming existential crisis to content with. It's honestly pretty depressing.... :/
